When it comes to buying windows, you want to make sure you are buying the right ones for your needs. There are a few different window types that range in price, material, and durability. Vinyl windows are some of the most popular types of windows in America. If you are interested in painting your window frames, vinyl makes it a little more difficult. They also don’t have the greatest durability, especially in the heat.

Fiberglass gives better detail aesthetically rather than vinyl. Matt Risinger considers fiberglass the best market value of the different window types.

Aluminum has two different types you can buy. There is a cheaper version and a higher cost. He suggests not buying an aluminum window if it doesn’t have the thermal break. This makes sure the performance thermally is good.

Lastly, there are wood frames. This type of Marvin frame has aluminum that was factory finished which means that it can last for a very long time. Wood also had a great thermal performance.
